As far as a tut, I don't think I would have time to write anything in-depth. But here is a basic run down on what I did:
The shading and curvature of the pieces was achieved with dodge and burn tools. They can take a bit of practice but you can get some very natural looking results.
The edge of the shapes was simply a bevel layer style set to a small size. It just ads that chamfered look and give it a little thickness.
As for the shadows, well again, simply a dropshadow layer style set to a farely large distance and size. Important to get the shadow right as it plays a big part in the overall depth.
And finally, the Depth Of Field blurring was just a guasian blur filter set to slightly different amounts for the front and back pieces; the back having the biggest blur as it's the furthest away. DOF really enhances the depth.
