Les Pure Guitar Interface by Pureav Les Pure Guitar Interface by Pureav
EDIT: Okay then...extremely surprised to find this as a DD today...a very old piece of mine, one of my first. So I'm editing this now to note you that this piece does not reflect my current abilities at all! This was made back in 2006, the same year I picked up Photoshop for the very first time. So I guess I should say please take a look in my gallery for interfaces crated since 2006 and now. Thans all for your continuing support!

Those of you who know your guitars will know the shape very well. And of course the name will also make sense :P I had the idea of having a split string connector (don't know the real guitar term) so it kinda took flow from there. Total work time: 9 hours, with a small break to eat some pork chops.

I myself don't know much about guitars. I'm an electronic producer, but I thought I would give a try at illustrating and creating a guitar design. :)

Anyway, comments welcome!

Peace, Lance

Dude, from reading your edit you said that this was an early Photoshop piece. If I could do this early on in Photoshop, I would be popular by now. This is excellent! :D

Hey just want to say, beautiful guitar, and despite shanesemler's apprehension as to whether or not such a guitar would be possible, some day, with your permission of course, i would actually love to try and build such a guitar as this one. Again, sweet as job, and i don't actually know what a "DD" is but it sounds bad, and I'm sure you didn't deserve it. we may be in further contact a few years down the road from now about this.
Peace out

Wow, quite the interesting response!

Well firstly, thank you very much for your kind words!
Now to the beefy stuff. You think you can actually make this thing? That would be insanely tremendous if you could man. I'll throw you a Note about this later.
By the way, a DD is a Daily Deviation dude, the featured work you see at the bottom of dA :)

Thanks again man and I'll be in touch!

Peace, Lance

Oh it will be a year or two or more before i can figure it out completely, so no promises, but who knows. And thanks for filling me in. i just look at the pics and throw a couple of my own on to this site, i don't really read all the jargon and stuff.

pardon moi, but actually, a DD, or 'Daily Deviation' is an award, sotospeak, given to certain exceptional pieces such as this :]

I love this design.

It's smooth, it's cool looking and it has a good idea.

But the split string connector thing would only work if you had the right kind of fine tuners down there. Other than that, I can't really find any flaws that would make this unfeasible. Good job. (:

the split tailpiece is totally workable as it is,the micro adjustments for string length are provided at the bridge,, no problems

I like the design! It looks cool! Only thing I'm thinking of, is that it might be hard to play with the right hand. I mean... It would be hard to have a place to rest the palm as you play :3

But hey, it looks kewl! >;3

that is a really cool concept....to 'dial up' on the guitar...numerous tones or effects and still maintaining the 'integrity' of the instrument as well.
