Adam - Sci-Fi Element Pack by Pureav Adam - Sci-Fi Element Pack by Pureav
So this is actually an old piece of work now, was the last touch screen pack I made when working with GUIFX. Unfortunately though, they never released it in the store, not sure why...

Kinda bummed about it though as I'm actually quite proud of this pack, wish I could sell it myself :/ I'll have to experiment with this style again and make a better pack for my own use.

I also made blue, orange, and pink versions, but green will do for dA.

Peeeeeeeeeeace!

Nice work man. Definitely feels different from most of your work, but it looks great. Can see this on a fantasy interface in some sci-fi.

Thanks man! Unfortunately not... They never put it up for sale, and I don't own the rights any more so it's in a grey area right now. :(

I thought it looked a little confined and constricted in areas of the smaller details ;)

Oh and by that I didn't mean unsharp mask is bad, just that it's more you know...commonly used on non-usable stuff. :)

hmm good point, maybe :)

just thought the parts looked small, that's all, it's not about the quality of the work mate ;)

Very odd! Everything is drawn with precise measurements and sharp edges with no rescaling. Perhaps the bg grid throws you a little. But even that is pixel sharp. Perhaps your eyes are used to seeing all those fantasy interfaces on Encide with 16+ applications of unsharp mask :P

Don't you upload them on graphicriver?

Nope. I don't own the rights to it any more so I couldn't. Not that I'd even think about putting it on GR anyway, that place is pure artist extortion and slaps a big "worthless" label on the entire industry. </rant> :)

I get the "I don't own rights" part. But the else... I don't know about artistic view of GR, but it's kinda good way to earn money and believe me, your stuff is really good and far more surpasses the GR archive.

Thanks man. But the thing is, there are a handful of sick artists on GR who have hundreds of sales and have earned like $5k...but then you look at the date they uploaded their pieces and you realize that you could earn 3 times as much in the same amount of time by cleaning toilets at your local mcdonald's. GR pay the artists absolute crumbs, thus making graphic design appear worthless. $3 for a product somebody spent hours of hard work on? Shit, you couldn't even buy a pack of cigarettes for that. It's completely wrong and they need to be shut down.

Rant aimed at GR, not you. :)

I have the same point of view as you, but let me add one more thing that you missed: only 50% of the earnings go to the artist, the 50% rest goes for graphicriver. They also put the prize to your product... When I saw that I decided to donīt release anything there

Hey man. Believe me I didn't miss it. Back in the day they used to give you about 30%. Not only that but the artist doesn't decide the price themselves either. Plus there is a huge discount offer in place which robs you of an even bigger percentage and there's no way to opt out of it. Nice to see somebody feel the same :)

heh! nice talk, i agree graphic river does that but many people go to buy sometimes various stuff from audiojungle too, talented artists fro mall over the world, i believe you could earn some extra if you do something real "catchy" :)

As I think much, I find truth in your words, but the difference between us is the age. I'm yet 16 and 3$ for each sale is not so bad, even though they rejected me 7 times and accepted only 1 of my work. I didn't want to upload ANYTHING after they rejected me continuously but then changed mind and my earning is 3$ this far :D
Maybe you're right but here (in my country) nobody needs a talented artist, especially of my age.
